BREAKING NEWS: SHEEPWELL WORLD PREMIERE AT AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL
We’ll be headed to the prestigious AFF from October 29 – November 5, 2026, to premiere our first-ever feature film!
SHEEPWELL is based on the 2022 SheNYC Festival play of the same name by Margaret Rose Caterisano. We’re so thrilled to share this screen adaptation with the world, starting with two screenings in Austin, TX.

Eleven years ago, we started with a simple, radical idea: to fight for gender equity in the arts by creating a space for women, trans, and non-binary storytellers to be seen and heard.
Over a decade later, we haven’t just created a space—we’ve built a nationwide movement.
So far, we’ve lost $48,000 in government funding due to our mission — and we’re relying on you to help keep us going during these years.
